These pictures from Rocky Mountain National Park were taken during several different trips. Most of the photos were taken from Trail Ridge Road or Fall River Road. I have thought that every time I go there, the scenery is more beautiful.

The following pictures were taken on November 8, 2000. It was after the second snow of the season, and had been warm enough that the snow in the lower elevations had melted, but cold enough that it was still powdery in the high. What looks like clouds above the peaks in many of these pictures is snow driven by the wind.

The following pictures were taken on June 1, 2001. I was just passing through on my way some place else, but I couldn't resist photographing this very sociable marmot. He just sat there while I photographed him from every angle.
