The Bear Creek Canyon is not the most famous or beautiful place that I have photographed, but it is one of the most dear to my heart. I grew up in Denver within walking distance of Bear Creek, and we often visited the canyon. It is part of the Lariat Loop Scenic Byway and the Denver Mountain Parks System.
On July 14, 2004, I visited the canyon a few days after my father's death. The visit brought back many memories. My father loved the mountains, and so I want to dedicate these photos to my Father's memory.
