On my first trip down the Colorado River Scenic Byway, I was taken completely by surprise. Expecting it to simply be a short cut from Grand Junction, Colorado, to Moab, Utah, I hadn't planned time to take photos. But my vow to return was kept on July 6, 2005. Many of the photos were taken along the riverway. Some were take on the short drive and hike to the Fisher Towers, some extraordinary rock formations.
