Wyoming's Crazy Woman Canyon
Nature Photographs

The Crazy Woman Canyon in the Bighorn National Forest is one of the best kept secrets in northern Wyoming. I found many references to it in tourist literature, but none that actually said where to find it. Still, the narrow dirt road that winds its way from west to south of Buffalo, Wyoming is well worth looking for. Without 4-wheel drive, its probably best to park at the foot of the canyon and hike the road, about ten miles of which go through the canyon. The scenery is spectacular, and nothing like anything else I've seen. These wallpaper photos were taken on in April 2005.

These photos were taken about two months later, when the snow had melted and swolen the stream.
