These wallpaper photographs from Hanging Lake were taken in September 12, 2011. Hanging Lake is by some considered one of the most beautiful spots in Colorado. It is located in Glenwood Canyon, near the city of Glenwood Springs on Interstate 70. The trail that leads to the lake is a little more than a mile, but it is a very steep climb all the way up. Much of the trail looks like this:

The hike is long and hard, but beautiful, and well worth the effort as you can see.
