These nature photographs from Lookout Mountain were taken on two different days in August 2006. Lookout Mountain is so named because it stands high above the city of Denver, and you can see nearly all of the metro area from the top. But looking west you can also see grand views of the mountains, and there are fantastic hiking trails. Lookout Mountain is the site of the grave of Buffalo Bill Cody. It is also part of the Lariat Loop Scenic Byway.
