These pictures from Rocky Mountain National Park were taken during several different trips. Most of the photos were taken from Trail Ridge Road or Fall River Road. I have thought that every time I go there, the scenery is more beautiful.
Following the purchase of my first digital camera, I made a trip in late November 2001 to try it out.
These were taken on a mostly cloudy day on October 4, 2002. The aspen were at their height, and the elk were bugling. It was snowing on some of the mountain peaks.
These were taken on November 5 & 6, 2002. A large snowstorm had covered everything. On the first day high winds kept the snow blowing on the peaks. 64-84
These pictures were taken on November 12, 2003. A high wind made for a dazzling display of blowing snow on the mountain tops. 85-96
