I think that Arches National Park is one of the most beautiful places in the world. We had planned to visit for about an hour, and ended up spending the day there. This is a place that cannot fully be captured by the camera, but I think that you can see why I am excited by the scenery there.

Having no ability to resist one of the most beautiful places in the world, I had to stop here again, even though I was only passing by. So with less than an hour to spend, I didn't get to visit much of the park, but it was an excellent day for pictures, and the sky makes these photographs a little better than the ones before. I was amazed, however, at how some of these pictures were nearly the same as the ones I had taken nearly two years before. I guess if beauty is in the eye of the beholder, I must have the same eye that I had before. These pictures were taken on June 10, 2001.

Finally I got the chance to visit and stay for awhile. I stayed in the area for two days and hiked many of the trails. The result is a much larger collection of photos. Arches is a place like no other, and I was very fortunate to be able to visit on these two days: July 4 & 5, 2005.
