It is simply impossible to capture the grandeur of the Grand Canyon with photographs. You have to actually be there to actually take it all in. Still, it makes for some beautiful photographs. These pictures were taken late in the afternoon in December of 2001. The first six were taken with a 35mm slr camera using a telephoto lens. The rest were taken with a digital camera.
