Red Rocks is a mountain park just west of Denver that is administered by the Denver Parks system. It can be found in the foothills, near Morrison, Colorado. Red Rocks is famous for the natural Amphitheather, where concerts are held regularly. But it is also a natural wonder of red sandstone rock formations. These pictures were taken on September 22, 2003.

These pictures were taken on August 9, 2005 at about midday. It was a sunny day on the west and a cloudy day on the east. I hiked the loop trail through the center of the park. I was fortunate enough to get some pictures of deer in front of the rocks on the back half of the loop.
