Cache La Poudre-North Park Scenic Byway
Nature photographs

The Cache La Poudre River was named by trappers after a cache of gunpowder that had been stored there. It has been designated as a National Wild and Scenic River by the National Park Service.
North Park refers to a high mountain basin (or valley) at the west end of the byway. It is mostly flat and grassy, and I did not photograph there.
All of these pictures were taken in September of three different years.
