Devil's Tower National Monument
Nature photographs

In northeast Wyoming, there is a unique geological feature that rises mysteriously out of the ground. It is so unique that it has been designated as the Devil's Tower National Monument. These pictures were taken at about noon on June 1, 2002. It had been cloudy all morning, but he sun came just in the nick of time.
A very early warm spell allowed for this trip on February 25, 2005. The warm spell left only a little snow behind.
