Sabino Canyon, Arizona

These pictures were taken in November, 2000 in Sabino Canyon. There is a three mile trail into the mountains with numerous other trails going off the main one. All access to this area is by hiking or paying to take a shuttle that runs in the area. I was quite fortunate to go in autumn when the trees were at their best. When you add autumn leaves, rivers, mountains and cactus, you come up with some very interesting pictures.

These photographs were taken during a hike on June 28, 2005. The temperature was above hundred, and we were grateful for a little bit of cloud cover.
